We are first time parents. My wife is 2 days past due and we think contractions may be starting. Yesterday she went to the doctor for a checkup and the doctor told her he was going to strip the membranes from her cervix, which he said could jumpstart labor. Well today she woke up, and when she sat up a small amount of fluid (about 3 TBSP or more) was released. The doctor told her to come in. He checked her and said it didn't look like her water had broken and said she could go home and wait. It's now about four hours later and she has started having contractions (right now at about 25 minutes apart). Any help/advice appreciated, like i said, it's our first rodeo.
