Treating possible chlamydia?

My boyfriend (ex now) told me last week he went to get a checkup and was diagnosed with Chlamydia. I have no symptoms but Chlamydia appears to have few symptoms normally. I'm getting really worked up about this because I lost my job in October and don't have health insurance and even the community clinic in my town costs money that I just don't have right now. I went through all my leftover medicine (from a weird bronchitis/upper respiratory thing I had in March) and I had a Z pack I didn't use and a whole bottle of unused Cipro. I took the Z pack and then started immediately on the 500mg Cipro 2x a day like the instructions had. Will I still need to go get tested? From what I researched they treat Chlamydia with a Zpack and Cipro used to treat it before Z packs came along. I don't want any lectures about taking medicine without a doctor's advice... when you lose your health insurance, you do what you can to get by. You probably wouldn't understand unless you were in the same position. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
