What does elevated blood results mean?

I had me yearly checkup done with the VA a couple of days ago and they took some blood for routine testing. I received a phone call today saying my blood work came back fine but "the levels" were slightly elevated. I go back next week to have the tests redone. What does this mean? The VA has done blood work on me several times before and there has never been anything unusual in the results. I am a 25 year old male in perfect health.
