Why doesn't my cockatiel play with toys?

I have a 10 month old cockatiel male. He is in great health (just took him for a checkup) and eats great too. He just doesnt seem to like any toy i put in his cage, he just sits on this one perch. right now i have 4 perches, a ladder, 5 hanging toys and a bone thingy for his beak. he doesnt mess with any of it, just chills on his favorite perch. should i be concerned?
