How long should I go to school for acting?

I want to go to a conservatory college for acting, such as AMDA. They have a 2-year conservatory program and a 4-year BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) program. I'm just wondering what type of degree would I be getting in the 2-year program. Also, would there be an academic workload if I were to go for the BFA? And what are some other good conservatories for acting or dance? I'm a freshman in high school so college is far away, I just don't wanna be surprised or caught of guard when college does roll around.
