Dropped my droid 2 in water...:/?

ok so i dropped my phone in a bucket of water (i think it was soapy but i dont know) i didnt notice i until the phone flashed under water i took it our dried it took the battery and sd card. it is now drying under a light bulb......mainly because i have no rice to put it in...is this really the end of my phone??? please someone help
